Grandma Willie has taken Blake on walks to hunt for nuts (the kind that fall from trees, not the kind that I'm related to) and he asked if we could go do it. I took him to a park that has a paved path that goes through trees and there's a waterfall along the way.

Blake has to know what every sign says. When we drove into the parking lot, he said "I saw a sign that had three NOs on it...we need to go see what it says. What if it says 'no lipstick' - you won't be able to go in!"

Payton works so hard in school and has always just missed the A honor roll but the first 6 weeks of 6th grade, she made the A honor roll!!! She says only about 6 or 7 out of the 30 in her particular class made the A honor roll. Yea for Payton! :-)

Marcy and I had a nice, long sushi lunch this afternoon and had time to chat. It had been awhile since we did anything together so it was nice to get caught up.

Yesterday, Andy, me and the kids headed out to Frisco (1 1/2 hours northeast of Ft. Worth) for lunch at The Cheesecake Factory and games at Dave & Buster's with Nick, Celeste (they were in town for the Shakira concert), Jo Anne and Felix. Our time together ended with a game of Texas Hold 'Em. Nick won the pot - enough cash to spend on the Shakira t-shirt he wanted so badly. :) Some pics from our day....
