Kami and I are taking our little ones, Reaghan and Blake, to Disney World in September for a week and staying at the Polynesian! I've always wanted to stay at the Polynesian but it's usually very expensive but I got a great deal and our trip is booked! I actually got a little teary eyed once I found out that we got to go - love planning Disney trips and look forward to taking Blake back and spending the time with Kami and Reaghan. Blake does not know yet and won't know until very close to the trip so don't tell him!

In celebration of Andy's birthday today, the header has many of the things that Andy loves...some of which he may get today!

Payton's last volleyball games were today and her team won the championship! Here are some pics.

Payton's team. Notice how the entire "bench" is filled with girls and the other team is practically empty. Having so many girls on the team means that each time the team rotates, they also rotate a girl out and one in.

• 4 stories tall - one for each of us
  
• Basement - he feels that we are depriving him of a basement because everybody in Kansas has one. He counts this is a story so we could get away with a 3 story house...whew!
  
• Color changing walls - he has been begging for color changing walls for a very long time. He envisions being able to push a button and the wall color changes. I deal with this request by saying "I'll email daddy and ask him about it" and so I do and now it's in Andy's court. You're welcome, Andy.
  
• Voice activated - he pronounces this as Boist Activated and he'd like things like opening the door to be done via voice command. I'm so glad Andy put on Home Alone 4 for them to watch tonight so we get to constantly hear ideas for how Blake would like to program the house...where does he get these nerdy tendencies anyway?

This invite is being given to a few of Payton's 6th grade friends. I never appreciated Payton more than after last year's birthday slumber party where some of the girls were complete freaks in public (throwing cloth napkins in a restaurant, yelling, etc.) but this is a different group of friends and I predict it will be much more calm. Either way is a win-win - either I appreciate Payton more because she knows how to behave OR they all behave very well and we have a great time. Wish us all luck. ;-)
