Amanda had been talking about sharing wedding pictures for awhile since she got married less than a year ago and none of us had seen them before. I got the idea of inviting a few ladies over for lunch (I live 3 miles from work) and all of us bringing our pics to share - our pics range in age from 27 years ago to less than 1 year ago. Food was good and fun to see everybody's pics!


Menu: Chicken salad on croissants, tuna ball (made like a cheese ball), fruit kabobs, pico de gallo w/tortilla chips, cucumbers with a salmon cream cheese filling (courtesy of Amanda) and English Trifle for dessert.

We were all tired today so it was a very low key (lazy!) day. The kids woke up early despite going to bed late because they were excited to look what the Easter Bunny brought.


Payton's easter "basket" was actually a purse stuffed with flip flops, CDs, etc.



Blake's easter "basket" was a backpack with a DVD, video game, candy, etc. He also got a new bike.

Then they looked for plastic eggs hidden in the house....

Kasey and Steven got married Saturday at the Dallas Arboretum and the reception was at The Empire Room. My camera ran out of batteries part of the way through the reception so hopefully I'll be adding more pics that will be emailed to me from other people. Kasey looked beautiful (as usual) and the venues were both fantastic. It was great catching up with co-workers that I hadn't seen in awhile! Payton was my date for the evening.

Second week in a row that Blake actually played in the soccer game and I remembered my camera this time!

Attended the Race for the Cure on Saturday morning w/some people from work - we walked the 5k and it was a beautiful morning. 18,000 people were predicted to attend.

We have a couple of weddings to go to within the next couple of months so we went to the mall to get a few items and tried all of our clothes on when we got back. Still have some final things to get but was fun to play dressup at home. Blake said he wanted to have a wedding in our house with invisible people. :-)

Went and visited Casey and Carter tonight after not seeing her since she left to work somewhere else. She's due to have a baby later this month but could go sooner if the contractions keep up. Was so good to catch up with her and talk about things. I've said before that anybody named Casey/Kasey rocks and she just helps prove my theory! Pics are blurry....need new camera, stat!
