I was tired of my long, heavy hair so I took in this pic of me when I was 21 as the style I wanted. At the time, I didn't own a curling iron or hair dryer or have any hair products and the style just kind of seemed to fall into place nicely.


This is how it looks after the cut.



I think my hair has gotten much wavier/curlier over the years but I like it.
