I haven't blogged much recently so I thought I'd post a little update.

Blake turned 6 on Friday and we had a little celebration at home for him. I had looked forward to planning a birthday party for him w/his friends but his ungrateful attitude when being given gifts meant no birthday party. We're still practicing manners together and hoping Christmas will go well (if not, his gifts will be donated).

We have upwards of 30 people coming for Thanksgiving so we've spent a lot of time recently getting more things done to our house before everybody comes. Unfortunately, our leather sofa that was delivered on Friday isn't going to workout and I'm looking into returning it right now. It's too big for the space and is shaped differently than I had thought.

On the job front, I love my job. Love it. The environment is completely different than I'm used to but it's fun and the work is sometimes difficult and the hours long but it's been really good. It's nice to use my brain again, meet new people and contribute to the bank account.

Just a two day week this week and then 5 days of Thanksgiving celebrations. Have a good week, everyone, and we'll see many of you in just a few days!
