You may have heard of Oprah and Gayle's Big Adventure but Blake and I are doing our own thing - a 5 day roadtrip to KC and back! Today was our first day and here's some photos....

Starting out...got the van packed up and the sheet tent up over the back seats. We're ready to go!


First stop - Gainesville outlet stores to get a few new clothes at The Gap for me and Blake. Blake played on the playground before we headed out.


Next up - Kami's house! We went to Kami's house and the kids played for a bit outside before we headed out for some yummy Italian food. This pic taken at the fountain in front of the restaurant.

Final stop of the day - the Sleep Inn in Guthrie, OK. We like it very much so far - great deal for nice, clean accommodations plus free wireless, free breakfast, indoor pool and good service. Blake was exhausted after our long day.


Up tomorrow - breakfast and swimming at the hotel in the morning (if time allows) and then the drive to KC for dinner w/Andy's family. Looking forward to it!
