Labor Day weekend

Amanda arrived on Saturday around lunchtime. After a quick tour of the house, we headed out for the day. Our stops included: Bella Luna for lunch, shopping for Vera Bradley at Kay Wiggin's, gelato at Chill, shopping at Lucinda's, wine at Oeno, a visit to Keeper of the Plains, and ending with a stop at the video store and liquor store.

Sunday we headed out around 10:30 or 11 for the day which included brunch at Yia Yia's (fantastic!), shopping at Williams-Sonoma, J. Jill, The Gap, and Eddie Bauer (lots of new clothes from each store in my new, smaller size). Then it was off to see the sing-a-long version of Mamma Mia (even more fabulous than when I saw it without the sing-a-long option) at the East Warren, shopping at Target and then dinner at Cinnamon's Deli.

We packed a lot into two days and had a lot of fun, spent a lot of money and ate a lot of food in the process. So happy Amanda came for the weekend!

What next?

Ooooh, I'm jealous Amanda!!! Shannon, when do the rest of us pions get to take a road trip your way?
I also saw sing along version of Mama Mia with a friend yesterday and thought it was awesome - caught lines this time I didn't first time. Dave is like "why do you want to see that again" - ha ha!

Oh sigh...let me explain why I look so HORRIBLE in that picture at Oneo Wine Bar...LOL! OK, I was really tired from being up early and driving 5 hours, my allergies were kicking my booty, and since I washed my hair the night before, it was all flat by this time at night. But Shannon looks good as always, of course! Aside from that, we did have a great time and I can't wait to go back!
