    I can't believe it's been a year already. I took her some lilacs. I miss her alot. Thanks for remembering. The link isn't working for the obit-only shows current ones I think(?). Mom

    Orpha Irene Thompson, 87, Kansas City, KS, died Tuesday, May 3, 2005, at home. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, May 7 at Maywood Community Church, Kansas City, KS; burial in Maywood Cemetery, Kansas City, KS. Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at the Maywood Community Church. Mrs. Thompson was born November 2, 1917, in Henley, MO, and had lived in Kansas City, KS, since 1954, moving from the Jefferson City, MO, area. She was a member of Maywood Community Church. She was preceded in death by her sister Bonnie Priestly on April 27. She is survived by her husband Herbert L. Thompson, of the home; sons Jerry L. Thompson, Jamesport, MO, and Donald Looten, Henley, MO; daughters Patricia L. Breedlove, Kansas City, KS, and Diana L.
